Mit Languages in Light in Pune fand Anfang Februar 2026 der Abschluss und zugleich ein besonderer Höhepunkt einer dreiwöchigen Indienreise mit Projekten in Kozhikode, Kolkata und Pune statt. Die Arbeit entstand an der Fassade des Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC) und war bereits mein viertes Projekt in Pune innerhalb von zehn Jahren.

Der Ort, die Architektur, die Sprache und die Menschen vor Ort wurden Teil eines gemeinsamen Erfahrungsraums. Licht, Typografie, Projektion und Fassade verbanden sich zu einer offenen, öffentlichen Bildsprache. Das Projekt griff Sprache nicht nur als lesbares System auf, sondern als atmosphärisches und räumliches Material.

Für mich war Pune erneut ein Ort intensiver Begegnungen, großer Offenheit und sehr besonderer Zusammenarbeit. Nach drei intensiven Projektstationen in Indien bildete dieses Werk einen starken Abschlussbogen: Sprache, Licht, kultureller Austausch und gemeinsames Erleben im öffentlichen Raum.

With Languages in Light in Pune, early February 2026 marked both the conclusion and one of the highlights of a three-week journey through India with projects in Kozhikode, Kolkata, and Pune. The work was created on the façade of the Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce (BMCC) and was already my fourth project in Pune within ten years.

The location, the architecture, the language, and the people on site all became part of a shared experiential space. Light, typography, projection, and façade merged into an open public visual language. The project approached language not only as something to be read, but as an atmospheric and spatial material.

For me, Pune was once again a place of intense encounters, openness, and very meaningful collaboration. After three intense project stations in India, this work formed a strong final arc: language, light, cultural exchange, and shared experience in public space.
